TOO MANY FRIENDS MAKE A DESTINY COMPLICATED : SUNDAY SERVICE AT SHEKINAH ARENA INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL MINISTRIES

DATE: 28/07/2024
PREACHER: Evangelist Doris Elebe
TOPIC: Avoid Wrong Association
BIBLE TEXT: Proverbs 13:20

INTRODUCTION: Association is a platform where relationships tend to earn a profit or something else, depending on the nature of the association. Association can either lift or bring a person down. It's therefore advised that an individual should desist from any association that doesn't glorify the name of the Lord.

A wrong association is a disaster for an individual (Numbers 32:10-13).
A wrong association leads to destiny disruption. As a Christian, one ought to choose one's associations with careful analysis.
When the devil wants to destroy an individual's life, he puts them in a wrong association.

DISADVANTAGES OF WRONG ASSOCIATION:
1. Wrong association can prolong an individual fulfilling destiny. As a child of God, you need to be mindful of those you refer to as your friends.
2. Wrong association can make or mar a destiny.
3. Wrong association can make achievement very difficult for an individual. In other words, wrong association delays progress.
4. Wrong association can make God's presence depart from an individual's life.
NOTE: Any contact that is in your contact list and yet you can't fall back on them during unforeseen circumstances ought to be deleted. Any friend that one can't run to when one is desperately in need of help isn't worth the friendship and ought to be discarded.
Friends are supposed to stand by an individual during sunny and rainy days.

DISASSOCIATE YOURSELF FROM ANY FRIEND THAT WON'T LET YOU ACTUALIZE YOUR DREAMS IN LIFE.
YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY GET TO YOUR PROMISED LAND IF YOU'RE IN A WRONG ASSOCIATION.
Philippians 3:2
TOO MANY FRIENDS, TOO MANY PROBLEMS.
Wrong friends are those without principles, values, and standards.

ASSOCIATE WITH BELIEVERS SO AS TO ACHIEVE GREATNESS.
PRAYERS:
- O' God, remove me from every wrong association.
- God, please don't pass me by, for I am here because of You.
